⭐️What is included?
1. Parent Check-ins : Monthly meetings with parents to discuss child’s progress, assistance with lesson planning, provide resources for specific units. Whether it's creating additional worksheets or guiding you through core topics, we are dedicated to helping you navigate the homeschooling journey with confidence.
2. Assessments:
Regular assessment is crucial to gauge a child's progress and identify areas that may require additional support or enrichment. Birdie’s Guided Homeschool offers monitoring and assessment services to help parents track their child's academic development.
3. Personalized Recommendations:
Based on assessments and parent feedback, we provide additional recommendations to help parents identify topics to expand upon or areas where their child may need additional assistance.
4. Learning Platforms: Access to computer-based learning programs for Math, Reading, and Language Arts
✨ Grades: K-12
✨ Subjects: All core subjects (Math, ELA, Social Studies, Science, Art)
✨ Curriculum: We like to use Oak Meadow as its secular, progressive and flexible. Students will also have access to personalized lessons, online games and learning platforms for additional engagement.
✨ Tuition: $200/ monthly (family discount for siblings)
⭐️Small Group Classes
(stand-alone or add-on)
A simple, enriching way to round out your homeschool week.
Our Group Classes provide live, teacher-led instruction in Science or Social Studies, to complement your homeschool curriculum or enhance your child’s learning with fresh, engaging experiences. Whether you're enrolled in Birdie Guided Homeschool, using a different approach, or looking for something to round out your week, these classes offer connection and academic support in consistent way.
What’s Included:
✏️ 4 sessions per month, 1 hour each (1x per week, Zoom)
✏️ Choose between:
Science – full-year curriculum exploring natural and holistic inspired topics, seasonal rhythms in nature and animals.
Social Studies – full-year curriculum exploring community, indigenous cultures, world cultures, and seasonal themes. End of year project - market stand.
✏️ Content is multi-grade friendly (ideal for elementary learners)
✏️ Small group setting (1–5 students max)
🎉 End-of-Year Project:
At the end of the year, Social Studies students will participate in a Market Stand Project, where they'll:
- Plan and “create” a product or service
- Practice early money skills, creative and presentation skills,
- Explore trade, creativity, and community in a hands-on way
Whether they make something real or imaginary, students will create a “market stand” in their community.
Tuition: $100/month per student per subject
- You may enroll in one or both subjects
- No enrollment in other Birdie programs required

About me.
Lydia Gomez, the founder and private teacher of Birdie Learning Academy is dedicated to providing homeschooling parents with access to LIVE-teacher instruction.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and ongoing studies in child and adolescent psychology, Lydia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to support children’s educational journey.
Her work with children with disabilities including autism and developmental delays, has further shaped her approach to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
